ABOUT GLOBAL KNOWLEDGE FOUNDATION (GKF)

Global Knowledge Foundation (GKF) is a trust registered under Indian Trust Act, established at an auspicious moment on the 13th of November 2009, with the primary objective of rendering selfless, dedicated and yeomen service to the cause of higher education originally in the field of Engineering & Technology and subsequently in the field of Management, Arts, Science, and Paramedical Sciences. It has been accepted that education is an important tool for acquiring knowledge for making a livelihood directly or indirectly and provides a way for honorable living. Education provides the wisdom that makes people happy and the society rich in values. Professional education, in addition, provides greater opportunities for employment as it is structured to cater to the needs of production of goods and services. In the present age of globalization, the aim of education should be meeting the global standards and global competition with high quality knowledge, good attitude, and work culture. GKF is a committed educational organization instituted by a group of educationalist, technocrats and philanthropists to cater to the future challenges faced by the society.

Layola Institute of scince and Technology, promoted by Global Knowledge Foundation was started in the academic year 2010-11 for promoting excellence in higher education. The governance of the College is based on equality and objectivity in the application of rules and procedures that are developed and applied without favor or discrimination. All actions of the Management will be transparent and logical. There is no secrecy. The policy planning involves all levels of employees to make it acceptable and workable. The motivational systems rewards are for those who deserve than consideration. Management ensures that the above policy will be practiced in Layola.
